Si bien el Registro de Intérpretes para Sordos de Puerto Rico, Inc. otorga acceso a nuestro directorio de miembros intérpretes, solo brindamos estos nombres para su conveniencia y no patrocinamos ninguno de estos intérpretes ni tomamos decisiones sobre la idoneidad de ningún intérprete para sus necesidades particulares. Actualmente no clasificamos ni cualificamos intérpretes para la práctica. Sin embargo, los intérpretes que aparecen en nuestro directorio han demostrado suficiente interés en su profesión de interpretación para formar parte de nuestra asociación.
Deberá hacer su propia investigación sobre el nivel de destreza, interés, certificación, especialidad, experiencia u otras cualidades de los intérpretes que mencionamos al tomar su decisión para contratar a un intérprete. No somos responsables de las decisiones que tome ni nos hacemos responsables del resultado de ninguna de sus decisiones.

Como asociación de miembros sin fines de lucro, el Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RISPRI) no pueden, según las leyes federales, ofrecer asesoría en cuanto a salarios o tarifas por hora. Las tarifas de los intérpretes varían según el mercado y según la región y son negociadas entre el intérprete o la agencia y el contratante.
